Home Renovation
Edgware, NW7

A complete home renovation requires concentration and scheduling, as we usually have a multiple tasks to be done in the day. We have built a featured wall separating the new office area and the hallway. The concept was to be able to have a home office while still be interacting with others in the house, so we made a large niche with a 1.5m x 1m glass including enough space to be able to sit inside and have storage space on the opposite side. All the flooring had been removed and underfloor heating has been fitted in the complete ground floor. Previously the hallway had a narrow passage, and pillars poorly positioned, taking space in the centre of the house. We introduced structural beams to go across the ceilings to open up the area making a more comfortable and generous walk around. We assisted the client through the ideas and visualising what the outcome of the idea would be.
In this property we had major reconfigurations, demolition, featured walls, bathrooms and general works such as plastering, flooring, painting etc.

Along with featured walls, built-in wardrobes had been made to maximise the space and utilise the awkward areas wisely.
A tv unit was done in the living room with a seating area on the side and in the front door.
The existing bathroom in the 1st floor was big enough to be split into two, so one became the family bathroom and the other an ensuite. To gain access to the ensuite we chased the bedroom wall and created a doorway.
In general, the client was very original in he's ideas, which made the job exciting and flawless.
